Cadastral Mapping, AutoCAD Vectorization & Spatial Database for an Entire Himalayan State

Project Overview

Mapsets was entrusted with the prestigious task of digitizing the entire cadastral map database of Sikkim, making it one of India’s most ambitious Land Information System (LIS) projects. The initiative aimed to create a vectorized, query-enabled, spatially accurate map set for each plot of land in the state—covering towns, rural areas, and forest borders.

All data was digitized in AutoCAD, overlaid with GPS-referenced field inputs, and structured into an intelligent LIS system, ensuring land transparency and modernized governance.
